    Itinerary Details

    Dehradun to Gangotri
Prepare to be ecstatic as you embark on your trek. The trek begins in Gangotri, India's holiest pilgrimage site. It is often considered to be one of the Char Dharmas. You will pass through Uttarkashi on your way here. Uttarkashi is on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and is home to the NIM Mountaineering Institute. The journey is long and winding, passing through forests and numerous religious temples along Himalayan highways. Due to the Char Dhaam yatra, Gangotri is extraordinarily crowded in March and April. However, it is a lovely spot on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Once you've arrived, relax in your hotels. The exploration energy would be saved for the next day.
    Day - 1
    Rest and acclimatization at Gangotri
Wake up in the midst of a religious hotspot. Today, you will go wherever you want and do whatever you want. All the temples in the area, such as Surya Kund, Gauri Kund, Pandav Gufa, and others, should be visited. Make an effort to make friends with the natives, pilgrims, and other visitors. Because it is an acclimatisation day, make sure you don't overwork your body and allow your body to adapt to the new height.
    Day - 2
    Gangotri to Nala Camp
Begin your exciting first trek day by heading towards Nala Camp. The trail is 8-9 hours long. You begin by walking in the direction of the valley. The Bhagirathi river runs parallel to the trail the whole way. Continue walking for another 2 kilometres until you reach a log bridge. Then turn right into the Rudragaira Valley. This valley is important in mountaineering because it contains Auden's Col, the Gangotri massif, and other landmarks. Take in the thick forest of Pine and Cedar trees that surrounds you. Take in the thick forest of Pine and Cedar trees that surrounds you. The path now begins to climb. Crossing the rockfall zone should be done with caution. You'll also come across the Bhoj Kharak campsite. As you ascend higher, you'll notice that the forest cover thins out. Then, to your delight, you'll be greeted by vast grasslands blooming with vibrant flowers. Yes, you'll be spending the night in these magnificent meadows. The first glimpse of Gangotri III and Jogin II can be viewed from the campsite.
    Day - 3
    Nala Camp to Rudugaira Camp
Today's workout will be shorter than yesterday's, but it will be intense. The entire route is uphill with a significant ascent. There will still be sufficient stream crossing. On the way, there will be no water sources. Make sure you have more than 2 litres of water on you at all times. Just keep going along the valley's river. While passing through the landslide area, there are some dangerous patches. As a result, proceed with caution. You could come across a few snow patches after you get past that. The trail becomes even more difficult. The first breathtaking views of Rudragaira peak, Jogin peak, and Auden Col pass can be seen today. The summit will be thrilling to witness. Rest in your tents after a long day.
    Day - 4
    Rest and Acclimatization
It's time to fun after two fantastic days. Since you've climbed to a height of 14800 ft, you can take some time to rest and acclimate. You should trudge in the vicinity of the campsite. Walks for acclimatisation are recommended. However, try to stay out of the tents the whole time. So that your body can adjust to the new height.
    Day - 5
Load ferry to Summit Camp and back
This day is set aside for the load ferry, during which the team transports its gear and equipment to the summit camp and returns for the night. This is the classic mountaineering approach of "job high, sleep low." This aids in acclimatisation in preparation for the summit attempt. Today you'll be doing your own meal. Begin by walking through meadows before turning left to reach moraines. After 30 minutes of walking, you can arrive. Many people use this camp as a high camp to shorten the distance to summit camp. Day - 6
    Rudugaira Camp to Summit Camp
Early in the morning, prepare to climb the same path as yesterday. Today you will be staying at the summit camp, and tomorrow will be summit day. Continue on the same path. Pass through moraines, meadows, and rocky outcroppings. Re-check all of your gear once you've arrived at the summit camp. The team will provide you with information about the summit attempt. Fill up on food and have a good night's sleep. The summit night has finally arrived.
    Day - 7
Summit attempt and back to Summit Camp
The most anticipated day begins at 3-4 a.m. Prepare for the summit push by getting dressed in your gear. The majority of the climb is steep, with a 60-degree angle. You must first pass through a moraine and rocky region. In fact, the route will be rocky throughout, but there will be enough snow covered portions. We begin by moving to the left, towards a ridge. This ridge will get you close enough to the top. Even though you're walking, take a few moments to look around. The crevasse se region of Gangotri I peak can be seen. The orangish-yellow hue behind the Gangotri creates a mind-blowing sight as the sun rises. Something that will be with you for the rest of your life.
    Day - 8
Summit Camp to Rudugaira Base Camp
After a memorable expedition, begin your return voyage. Take a step back and retrace your steps. Take a look back at the route you took to the summit. It will be a fast descent to Rudragaira base camp today. Have a great time in the tents.
    Day - 9
    Rudugaira Base Camp to Gangotri
Retrace your steps. Cross landslide zones, massive meadows, small streams, and a steep descent. The trail is 15 kilometres long. Enjoy and try to re-scan all of the stunning beauty for a lifetime of memories. Rest in the guest house after a long day.
    Day - 10
    Gangotri to Dehradun
Today is the last day of the journey. Return to Dehradun by boarding the van. You will arrive in Dehradun til 8 p.m. As a result, plan your future travels accordingly.
    Day - 11
    Buffer Day
A buffer day is included in every expedition plan. This day is used if the summit cannot be reached on the pre-planned itinerary due to adverse weather conditions. These two days have been added to improve the odds of reaching the summit. If a summit is feasible due to unforeseen circumstances, we will stay at the summit camp for one or two days before attempting to top the peak.
