    Overview

    Phulara Ridge Trek

The Govind Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the Phulara Ridge Trek. As you might know, there are many beautiful treks in Uttarkashi’s sanctuary, and Phulara is one of them! It’s a rare ridge trek in Uttarakhand, but unlike others, it hasn’t seen many footsteps, which sets it apart from the rest.   In the winter, Phulara Ridge is mainly shrouded in snow and there is a little fog, which makes it even more fun to visit the next view with each move forward.

    Dehradun to Sankri
Enjoy the ride, and the wait will be over shortly. Reach Sankri's biggest market and trekkers' paradise. Freshen up, and enjoy evening snacks on the open terrace with spectacular views. After receiving some details, you can go for an evening walk but must return to the hotel for dinner. Enjoy a tasty meal and a relaxing night in the hotel.
    Day - 1
    Sankri to Sikolta Trek
The trek begins in Sankri and ends in Sikolta, which is 7 kilometres away. Witness Swargarohini peaks (I, II, III) bandarpunch top, the black peak, which will mesmerise you after a short walk from the main market. It's a joy to stroll under the shade of trees as you ascend through thick pine forest, where you can see some unusual Himalayan birds. You can meet Jaional Thach at the end of the trail, which provides views of Dhuda hill.
    Day - 2
Sikolta to Bhoj gadi camp Trek
After a healthy breakfast, depart Sikolta and travel to Bhoj Gadi. After thirty minutes of climbing through the trees, you'll find a bridge that spans the gorge. A lovely blooming small clearing called "Karsu Thach" lies ahead. The receding treeline can be seen distinctly from this Thach, and the unexpected sight of Kedarkantha peak greets you. Reach a separate section of undulating meadows; the campsite is half an hour drive from here. Reach the levelled meadow of "Bhoj Gadi," which offers spectacular views of Kedarkantha, Vijay Top, Devkiyaara, and Swargarohini.
    Day - 3
Bhoj Gadi camp to Phulara ridge summit
Phulara Ridge can be seen clearly from Bhoj Gadi campsite, and it takes 45 minutes to reach the top. Today's climb will be enjoyable due to scenic vistas and abundant Flora and Fauna; look for unusual Himalayan birds along the way. Hit the ridge top after a steep climb and take in the magnificent panorama views of high Himalayan peaks. Swargarohini, Kala Nag, Devkiyara, Bandarpoonch, Rangnala, Hanuman Top, Top of Sarutal, Vijay Top, and Kedarkantha are among the peaks visible from the ridge top.
    Day - 4
Pushtara thach to Taluka Trek and back to Sankri
The descent to Taluka is easy, but be careful coming downhills because most people twist their ankles. Enter a dense forest; the tracks are difficult to navigate, so stick to your guide. After half an hour, you'll arrive in Taluka, a village with a few stores. From here, a vehicle will be arranged to take you to Sankri, where you will stay in a hotel.
    Day - 5
    Sankri to Dehradun
Today is your last breakfast with our team on this journey. The certificates will be presented, and after some lovely photographs, Sankri will bid you all farewell.
