Overview
Do Dham Yatra
The Do Dham Yatra is a spiritually enriching pilgrimage that takes you to two of the most revered shrines in India—Kedarnath and Badrinath—along with the sacred Tungnath Temple. This 6-day journey offers not only a religious experience but also a chance to witness the majestic beauty of the Himalayas.
Starting from the holy city of Haridwar, the yatra takes you through scenic landscapes and important pilgrimage sites like Devprayag and Rudraprayag on the way to Guptkashi. You will then embark on the Kedarnath trek, a significant highlight of the trip, where you will visit the iconic Kedarnath Temple, situated at 3,583 meters above sea level.
In addition to Kedarnath, the yatra also includes a visit to Chopta, known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” where you’ll trek to the highest Shiva temple in the world—Tungnath. Finally, you’ll journey to Badrinath, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, to pay your respects at the sacred Badrinath Temple.
The trip concludes with a long scenic drive back to Haridwar, offering a perfect blend of spirituality and adventure. Throughout the yatra, you’ll not only deepen your connection with your faith but also immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Himalayan wilderness.
