Itinerary Details
Arrival in Srinagar → Drive to Sonamarg → Trek to Nichnai
After reaching Srinagar, drive to Sonamarg, the starting point of the trek. Begin your trek through lush meadows and pine forests, gradually ascending to reach the Nichnai campsite, surrounded by mountains and open grasslands.
Day - 1
Nichnai to Vishansar Lake via Nichnai Pass
Cross the scenic Nichnai Pass and descend into the mesmerizing Vishansar valley. The day rewards you with your first glimpse of a pristine alpine lake Vishansar Lake, known for its deep blue waters.
Day - 2
Vishansar Lake to Gadsar via Gadsar Pass
Trek past Krishansar Lake and climb to the highest point of the trek — Gadsar Pass (13,750 ft). Descend to reach Gadsar Lake, often called the most beautiful lake of the trek.
Day - 3
Gadsar to Satsar Lakes
Walk through remote trails and rolling meadows to reach the Satsar Lake region, a cluster of seven interconnected lakes. This day feels peaceful and untouched, far from civilization.
Day - 4
Satsar to Gangbal Lake
One of the most scenic days of the trek. The trail leads you to Gangbal Lake, set at the base of Mount Harmukh, offering dramatic mountain reflections and vast open views.
Day - 5
Gangbal to Naranag
Descend through alpine meadows and forests as you trek down to Naranag village, marking the end of the trek.
Day - 6
Naranag → Srinagar (Departure)
Drive back to Srinagar with unforgettable memories of Kashmir’s high-altitude wonders.
