Itinerary Details

Kasol to Grahan Village
Your journey begins at Kasol, where all trekkers assemble for registration and a detailed briefing session by the trek leader. After introductions and instructions, the trek starts towards Grahan Village. The trail gradually ascends through dense pine forests while offering scenic views of the Parvati River flowing below. The peaceful environment and fresh mountain air make the first day enjoyable and refreshing. After trekking for around four to five hours, you reach Grahan Village, a traditional Himalayan settlement known for its wooden houses and simple lifestyle. Overnight stay is arranged in camps near the village.
Day - 1
Grahan Village to Min Thach
On the second day, the trek continues from Grahan to Min Thach. The trail becomes steeper and passes through thick forests of oak and pine trees. As you gain altitude, the valley views become more expansive and dramatic. The ascent requires steady walking, but the scenic beauty keeps you motivated. After trekking for approximately five to six hours, you arrive at Min Thach, a beautiful meadow campsite surrounded by towering mountains. The evening offers mesmerizing sunset views, and trekkers rest under a sky full of stars.
Day - 2
Min Thach to Nagaru
Day three is slightly more challenging as you move from Min Thach to Nagaru. The terrain becomes rugged, and depending on the season, snow patches may start appearing along the trail. The climb is gradual yet demanding due to the increasing altitude. After six to seven hours of trekking, you reach Nagaru at around 12,500 feet. From here, panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks can be witnessed. The temperature drops significantly at night, and trekkers prepare for the most exciting summit day ahead.
Day - 3
Nagaru to Sar Pass and Descend to Biskeri Thach
This is the most adventurous and rewarding day of the trek. The morning starts early to ensure safe crossing of snowfields. The climb towards Sar Pass requires careful footing, especially on snow-covered sections. Upon reaching Sar Pass at 13,800 feet, trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Himalayan ranges. After spending memorable moments at the summit, the descent begins towards Biskeri Thach. During snow season, trekkers often enjoy a thrilling snow slide, which is one of the major highlights of this trek. The trail eventually opens into lush green meadows at Biskeri Thach, where the final campsite is set up for overnight stay.
Day - 4
Biskeri Thach to Barshaini and Drive Back to Kasol
On the final day, the trek descends from Biskeri Thach towards Barshaini. The trail passes through scenic meadows and forest sections, offering a peaceful conclusion to the adventure. The descent is gradual and comfortable compared to previous days. After reaching Barshaini, a short drive takes you back to Kasol, marking the end of the Sar Pass Trek with unforgettable Himalayan memories and a sense of achievement.
Day - 5
