    Overview

    Auden's Col Expedition

The trek to Auden’s Col is one of the most difficult; the majesty of Auden’s Col is untouched and unexplored. Auden’s Col is a high-altitude mountain pass that connects the Rudugaira and Bhilangna valleys in Uttarakhand. It is located at an elevation of 5,490 metres (18,010 feet). And it joins the ridge that runs north-west from Gangotri III (6580 m) peak to the ridge that runs east from Jogin I (6465 m).

It also connects the Jogin I glacier on the north side of Rudugaira valley with the lethal Khatling glacier on the south side of Bhilangna valley. Because the hike to Auden’s Col is difficult and risky. It’s a good idea to hire a guide who knows the Auden’s Col trek inside and out and has likely done it several times.Read More
