    Itinerary Details

    Haridwar – Sari Drive
From Haridwar, the Chopta Tungnath Chandrashila Trek begins. We'll meet at 7:00 a.m. in Haridwar and then take a long drive up to Sari. For the most part, we'll be driving along the Ganga and Alaknanda rivers, passing through Rishikesh, Devprayag, Srinagar, and Karnprayag before turning left into the Mandakini valley. From Haridwar to Sari, the trek takes about 7 hours. Haridwar is nearly 210 kilometres away from Sari. Before we settle in for an overnight stay at the lodge, we'll take a brief hike at dusk to stretch our muscles and prepare for the trek tomorrow.
    Day - 1
    Sari – Deoriatal Trek
Our Chopta Tungnath Chandrashila Trek will begin with a walk through a few villages and Ukhimath, a small temple town, before continuing through an enchanting mixed forest rich in birdlife. In comparison to previous days, today's trek was relatively easy. We'll be climbing up a fantastic rocky trail. Because there will be no available water, it is recommended that you bring enough water with you. We will arrive at the Deoriatal lake in the afternoon after a largely uphill hike; after lunch, you can explore the surrounding areas. From Deoriatal, the Chandrashila summit is easily visible. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the tranquil surroundings, bird-watching, and taking numerous photos. Stay the night in a tent under the stars.
    Day - 2
    Deoriatal – Chopta Trek
After walking on a ridge, we'll begin a series of ascents and descents that, while slow, will be a lot of fun as we pass through mixed forests with oaks, pines, rhododendrons, and other plants. We're headed straight for Rohgini Bugyal and Chopta after passing through a clearing in the woodland lined with scarlet blossoms. The snow-capped Himalayan peaks can also be seen today. We'll unwind when we arrive at our day's destination, Chopta. Keep your camera handy because the sunset at Chopta is a photographer's dream! Tents will be used for the weekend.
    Day - 3
Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashila peak - Chopta
Tungnath temple is reached after a short, scenic, but difficult climb up the meadow's slopes. The golden meadows and a panoramic view of the lofty mountains and valleys are the most striking views at Tungnath temples. We'll take a short break for refreshments and rest before continuing our climb to the summit of the Chandrashilla peak, which sits at an elevation of 4000 metres. Our attempts to achieve the summit will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Himalayan peaks Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba, and others. As your mind stores all of these memorable memories, it will work as quickly as your image. After a while, we'll return to Chopta, get into our cars, and drive for an hour to Kund, where we'll refresh with a shower and a hot meal. Stay the night at the lodge.
    Day - 4
    (RETURN) Chopta – Haridwar Drive
On the fifth day, we'll go to Haridwar. You will arrive in Haridwar in the evening after a 7-hour flight filled with mellow reminiscences of the hills. The Chopta Tungnath Chandrashila Trek comes to an end here.
